Sunflower seeds are more commonly eaten as a healthy snack. The seeds may be sold as in-shell seeds or dehulled kernels. The seeds can also be sprouted and eaten in salads. Chinese cinemas also sell roasted in-shell sunflower seeds in addition to popcorn etc. Sunflower oil is extracted from the seeds, and is used for cooking.

But that is not all of our consumptions of sunflower seeds. Now many manufacturers processe sunflower seeds into milled one. It is easier for you to digest it. What is more, some manufacturers even mix milled sunflower seeds with other milled healthy food, for example, milled pumpkin seeds, goji, and flaxseed.
